Nursing is a complex field. Even if you are already a type of nurse it is not always a straightforward path to reaching the next level. There may be multiple ways to get to the same goal, so what is the best program to do?
Before looking at programs you have to answer two questions:
What are you current qualifications?
What do you want to become?
Firstly, what are you currently qualifications? Do you already have a bachelor's degree in nursing? In a non-nursing field? This information is important if you do not want to waste your time and money. Some state nursing boards allow exemptions if you already have a bachelor's degree in nursing or a non-nursing field. Also, if you are already one type of nurse then the path to another level of nursing is not always straight forward.
